What’s the bottom line? How does it all add up? How ever we look at the figures, do they still add up to the same thing?
Among the psalms we read. . .
“(160) The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.” (Psalm 119:160 ESV)
The “sum”. According to Strong’s Lexicon, that is one of the correct renderings of the Hebrew word used by the psalmist. To acknowledge the “sum” total of God’s Words are true should have a tremendous impact on our life. As we consider the total of our life, we must compare it with the sum of what God has declared!
How our life adds up depends on the standard to which we align it. Are we guilty of keeping two sets of books; one from which we read and another from which we live? Or do we continue to seek for our life to be reconciled with the sum of what God has declared? For our life to be true to what God desires, we must continue seeking to align it with the sum of what He has revealed. May we continue to seek reconciliation of our life to His Will!
Have a great day FIGURING LIFE IN LIGHT OF GOD’S WILL!
