Attitude

6-7

March 31, 2026 by Jim Young

Every generation has its unique culture, sayings, and idioms.  I am a product of the 70s and grew up with “dude”, “far out”, “boogie down”, and some strange clothing choices by today’s standards. (See the “cat idioms” at the end of the article for examples of other idioms). Lately, there has been a trend of using the phrase “6-7” among the youth that confuses the older … [Read more...] about 6-7

CARETAKER!

When it comes to care and caring, how well is our heart … [Read more...] about CARETAKER!

HOW READ?

November 14, 2025 by Carl Hanson

The question “Do you read me?” (in radio communication) may seem strange when what is really meant is “Do you hear me?” What the question literally relates to is the quality of the message transmission or radio reception; whether or not it is coming in loud and clear. In the same way we might wonder how people read our life? What is the message coming through based on the … [Read more...] about HOW READ?

GUARDING OUR APPROACH!

July 2, 2025 by Carl Hanson

Being in the World…

June 29, 2025 by Jim Young

Second, He prayed for His disciples who were to spread the gospel message through the help of the Spirit. Third, He prayed for those that would follow them and His teaching. That would be the … [Read more...] about Being in the World…

Our Mission

Truth For Teens was originally a publication with a circulation of over 500 to youth throughout the United States.  This was possible because a group of men and women felt a need to provide healthy, helpful information to our youth as they deal with daily situations.

That need has not changed. The Central church of Christ at Pflugerville, Texas has decided to oversee this continuing, important ministry with this website and publication of a regular newsletter available to all teens around the world. We want the truth of God to be available as the “truth for teens” as well!
