Again: “When we reject God’s commands, what we are actually declaring is we think we have a better idea than God!”
“As I see it”, I do not have all the answers to life. “As I see it”, I do not make all the right choices. “As I see it”, I don’t always understand as I should. “As I see it”, I am limited in what I see. “As I see it”, left to myself, I am in for trouble! “As I see it”, all mankind is in this same predicament. “As I see it”, we need guidance beyond ourselves.
Solomon wisely advised. . .
“(5) Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. (6) In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)
It is God who has provided the insight to get life back on the straight and narrow. It is God who provides the vision to get back on track. My ideas tend to take me off course. My ideas can get me lost. When I lean on my own understanding I tend to fall because that support is not even close to what God provides through His word for life, nor is it adequate in itself. Trusting in Him and acknowledging Him in all the ways of life will ultimately lead me to where He is for eternity. And that’s exactly where He wants to get me, and also you.
Even when we don’t understand, may we continue to trust. “As I see it”, with eyes set on God’s way, our life will remain on a proper course. His way is wholly trustworthy.
Have a great day SEEING IT GOD’S WAY!
Carl
