When someone asks us to guard something of value to them, they might exhort us to make sure we don’t take our eyes off it for even a moment. Therefore, whether we stand or sit, our eyes remain glued to whatever it might be until they return.
Solomon urged. . .
“(20) My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. (21) Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.” (Proverbs 4:20-21 ESV)
If we fail to continually keep the wisdom of God in view, we could soon find ourselves having lost it as the focus rests more and more on the worldly ways around us. We are to view and review God’s Word on a constant basis to guard against departing from it. Keeping His Will in view not only provides us with the best life possible, but also steers us away from what would otherwise affect our health (Proverbs 4:22) both physically and spiritually. It is of utmost importance to keep our focus fixed on what God has revealed to us! May we continue doing so!
Have a great day KEEPING THE SIGHT SET ON GOD’S WISDOM!
