Each day we ought to remain mindful of praising God, since each day is a precious gift from Him. However, it is still a very special experience to gather with brothers and sisters in Christ and join in the celebration of praise together. I always look forward to those times of assembly, not merely because I have the opportunity to share lessons from God’s Word, but because there is just no substitute for the fellowship of praise in God’s family. I hope you also look forward to each opportunity to worship “in spirit and in truth” since such is the worship the Father seeks. (John 4:23)
In Psalms we read. . .
“(1) Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.” (Psalm 111:1 ESV)
And. . .
“(1) Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly!” (Psalm 149:1 ESV)
“Praise the Lord” in the Hebrew is “Hallelu Yah”. And, yes, what a joy and uplift to do so together. May we cherish those times and be encouraged onward and upward through the sharing of a kindred spirit with one another. It is merely a taste of the eternity we will share together with our God.
Have a great day FILLED WITH PRAISE TO GOD!
