Though the words may not be understood because the language spoken is different, a cry is still understood. Though some may turn and look the other way, others may be drawn by compassion and understanding even though any spoken words would not be understood. It is the same with the smile of a foreigner, even though any words would fail to communicate. This would also be true of an embrace or an extended helping hand. There are more ways for a message or truth to be conveyed than in words; ways in which understanding occurs regardless of the language spoken by the one who perceives.
This is also true with the power and works of God. There are ways in which He has revealed Himself other than in the language of words. The works of His hand speak volumes about His wisdom and power in a way to draw our attention to Him.
The Psalmist wrote. . .
β(1) The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. (2) Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. (3) There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. (4) Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,β (Psalm 19:1-4 ESV)
Regardless of culture, language, generation, etc., God seeks to reveal Himself and He is understood by those who are willing to listen and accept. Just look around and listen to what creation is telling you about its Creator. Acknowledge the wisdom. Consider the power. Note the order. Oh, what a marvelous God we serve!
Have a great day UNDERSTANDING THE LANGUAGE OF CREATION!
