The last three days we have considered some things associated with the offers of God. But what can we offer to Him? What could we possibly give to the One Who has everything?
In a psalm of Asaph we read. . .
“ (10) For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.” (Psalm 50:10 ESV)
Consider also the words of Moses where we read. . .
“(14) Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it.” (Deuteronomy 10:14 ESV)
And in a psalm of David we also read. . .
“(1) The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,” (Psalm 24:1; also 1 Corinthians 10:26)
We have difficulty trying to buy gifts for people who seem to already have it all, but what do we give to God Who truly does? When we consider the above verses, what’s left? What could we possibly give to God? (note Romans 11:35) Is there anything God needs? Perhaps the better question to ask is: “What does God desire?” Is there anything specific He would be pleased to receive from us? Meditate on what that might be and Lord Willing over the next two days we shall note what we can offer as it relates directly and indirectly to the Lord.
Have a great day CONSIDERING YOUR OFFERING TO GOD!
