What can we possibly offer to God Who has everything? Is there anything He would be pleased for us to offer Him? Yes! Consider the following two offerings as they relate specifically to God.
“(1)I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” (Romans 12:1 ESV)

“(15) Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” (Hebrews 13:15 ESV)
God — Who has given us life — desires for us to offer that life back to Him! He wants us to offer our body in living sacrificial service to Him! In this way He is glorified in and by His creation. Paul stated that living this way is in itself “spiritual worship”. Daily living is to be a worshipful experience before our God. This is not only done through the activity of life, but also through the offering of praise from our lips as we confess before others that we are indeed servants of Christ Jesus and children of God! In doing so we are acknowledging the proclamation and practice of our life going hand in hand; consistency in what we say and what we do. May the world be drawn to God as they see His glory through this consistent offering of our life back to Him!
