God’s power has been displayed in many ways. We note His great power that went into Creation. We read of His great power to lead Israel from bondage, defeat their enemies, and lead them to the land He had promised. We glimpse the power of God through the miracles Jesus performed during His ministry on earth. And there was the great power exhibited in our Lord’s resurrection from the dead.
Paul made a very encouraging statement linked to that resurrection power where we read. . .
“(18) having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, (19) and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might (20) that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 1:18-20 ESV)
What encouragement! The same power that raised Christ from the dead is the power that works for us who believe. No wonder Paul had stated. . .
“(31) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 ESV)
Have a great day KNOWING GOD’S POWER WORKS FOR US!
Carl
