I love acronyms, especially those which remind me of encouraging Biblical truths. Acronyms are used in place of a phrase or string of words — many times with the letters forming a word themselves — as an abbreviation of the idea. Among some of my favorites are:
BIBLE: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!
FROG: Fully Rely On God!
GRACE: God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense!
HOPE: Hold On, Pain Ends!
PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens!

FAITH: Fully Assured I Trust Him!
Such is the focus expressed by the writer of Hebrews where he stated. . .
“(1) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 ESV)
Convicted by the reality God never lies (Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18), there is substance to His promises on which I can solidly place my trust! Looking through the Scriptures at His marvelous track record of faithfulness, I can trust Him because I am fully assured of His ability to fulfill all that He has said! Regardless of whatever else might be going on around me, may my faith always rest confidently in Him!
