Insanity has been defined as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Perhaps we would also say such is a sign of foolishness rather than wisdom.
Solomon stated. . .
“(24) The crown of the wise is their wealth, but the folly of fools brings folly.” (Proverbs 14:24 ESV)
Wisdom recognizes one reaps what is sown; like produces like. (i.e. Galatians 6:7-8) As this is true agriculturally, why would anyone expect it to be different morally? Wisdom also learns from mistakes rather than practicing them repeatedly and expecting different results. May we exercise wisdom and therefore be perpetual learners rather than returners to repeated mistakes!
Have a great day REMAINING A PERPETUAL PUPIL OF GODLY INSIGHT!
