Sometimes to get someone to believe something we have to get them to take a look. Still, there must be a willingness to accept the proof seen. This is no more true than when it comes to believing in God as the Creator of the world and universe in which we live.
In one of the psalms we read. . .
“(8) Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him! (9) For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. (Psalm 33:8-9 ESV)
Yes, God spoke, and step-by-step all creation and life came into existence. (Genesis 1) With all the complexity, order, and preciseness, how can it be said the cause behind it all was just some cosmic accident?
Writing to Christians at Rome — regarding those who would refuse to believe — Paul noted. . .
“(18) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. (19) For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. (20) For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:18-20 ESV)
Not only has God revealed Himself and His Will through the Scriptures, but He has also revealed His great power and wisdom in all that He has made. Yes, God exists and rewards those who seek Him! (Hebrews 11:6) As we stand in awe of the greatness of our Creator, may we continue pointing those around us to His word and world as we encourage them to also see and so believe!
Have a great day DIRECTING THE GAZE TOWARD OUR AWESOME GOD!
