It has been said, “Prayer is the difference between the best we can do and the best God can do.” (Mark Batterson) [via Goodreads.com]
How often have we limited our life to what we are able to do in and of ourselves? As we acknowledge how much God loves us and wants the best for us, we ought to be daily seeking His guidance while surrendering to His working in and through us! Regardless of our limitations, prayer lifts our focus to the One Who is limitless!
Writing to Christians at Ephesus, Paul encouraged. . .
“(20) Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, (21) to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21ESV)
In light of this truth regarding God’s ability being even beyond what we might call to mind, may our prayer be for God to work His power in us — for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13) — that He be glorified through the good He can do in and through us! Such surrendered prayer will make a world of difference for our life in this world!
Have a great day REMEMBERING GOD AS OUR BEST HELP!
