We have an adult grandson who used to love “Bob The Builder”. Such was fun to watch along with him. However, more than that is for us to give due consideration to “God The Builder”!
As the writer of Hebrews continued to draw attention to the better things and greater glory associated with Christ and the provision of adequate cleansing in Him, we read. . .
“(1) Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, (2) who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God’s house. (3) For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses — as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself. (4) (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.)” (Hebrews 3:1-4 ESV)
Is our life a product of self-help or are we allowing God to be the builder of our life? Acknowledging “God The Builder”, just as a house says something about the one who designed and built it, what is our life saying about Him? With God truly acknowledged and surrendered to as our Maker and the Builder of our life, may He truly receive the glory He is due!
Have a great day LIVING TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE BUILDER!
Carl
