It has been expressed, “They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” (Tom Bodett)
Can we see how the greatest glory of such would be associated with a focus centered in the Lord Jesus Christ? To truly love Jesus to willingly follow His Will (i.e. John 14:15 & 24) will move us to continue living and doing for Him (i.e. Romans 14:8) because we know that it is in Him our highest hope is securely anchored in His eternal realm. (Hebrews 6:19-20)
As Paul began his letter to Christians at Thessalonica, he stated. . .
“(2) We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, (3) remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 ESV)
Does that not reflect part of the essence of a Christ centered life? May our focus remain on loving Jesus and living to glorify Him because of the eternal hope that we know is ours in Him!
Have a great day KNOWING THE SECRET OF A TRULY HAPPY SOUL!
