We might look into the future wondering how far we will go. In our pursuits, can we go the distance? But what about the distance we have moved now? There is the need here to consider where we’ve been and where we are right now. Are we moving? Have we been progressing in a right direction? And are we, ourselves, to be credited for where we are right now?
Paul stated. . .
“ (13) But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13 ESV)
God has provided the means of bringing us to Him. Through the blood of Jesus, we have now moved into the realm of God’s salvation. He has made it possible for us to draw near to Him. Now, may we continue moving that direction. Being in Christ now extends eternally beyond this time and space.
