Someone has duly noted, “Prayer is not a back-up plan. Prayer is the battle plan.”
After Paul listed the armor God has provided for our spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:11-17), he went on to state. . .
“(18) praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,” (Ephesians 6:18 ESV)
When? At all times! Even as Paul urged those at Thessalonica to “pray without ceasing”. (1 Thessalonians 5:17 ESV) It’s the plan! Employ the plan! Trust God’s plan to work!
