Someone has said, “You can’t complain about the results you don’t see from the work you didn’t put in.”
From the wisdom of Solomon, we should duly note. . .
“(23) In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.” (Proverbs 14:23 ESV)
What marks our expectation and what are we willing to do in connection with it? Often there is really no need to talk about what we are doing because our actions will speak for themselves. Perhaps some who talk the most are engaged the least. Are we more talk than action?
John also exhorted. . .
“(18) Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” (1 John 3:18 ESV)
Yes, let our life be more than mere words! Let us labor in love! Let us toil in truth! May we be rich in good works (1 Timothy 6:18) to the glory of God (Matthew 5:16) and the benefit of others!
Have a great day AS A DOER OF GOOD DEEDS!
Carl
