One of the psalmists wrote. . .
“(59) When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies; (60) I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments.” (Psalm 119:59-60 ESV)
As I think, what marks my turning? Is it a turning to do my will or God’s? When I think on my ways, let me not simply rush into what I think might be right, but rather first turn my feet to go to God’s Word to discern if my ways are in sync with His. It is then I can hasten to go on in the confidence of the pathway on which He leads.
The Psalmist David prayed. . .
“(11) Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.” (Psalm 86:11 ESV)
May we each remember to turn first to God to then turn to go living in accordance with His Will!
Have a great day WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF GOD’S TRUTH!
